DESCRIPTION:The La Porte County Symphony Orchestra announces the 11th season of Hoosier STAR. This enjoyable evening of entertainment will take place on Saturday\, September 10\, 7pm\, at the La Porte Civic Auditorium. Hoosier STAR has evolved into one of La Porte County's premier events\, where everyone in the audience has the opportunity to vote to determine the first and second place winners. \n\n \n\nThis fundraising event has presented exceptional vocalists over the years from all over Indiana and SW Michigan. These talented singers were selected by audition to perform with the Hoosier STAR Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Philip J. Bauman.\n\n \n\nTickets are on sale now. Table seating for 10 on the floor of the Civic is available for $500.  Balcony seats are $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12.
