DESCRIPTION:The community is invited to the La Porte High School Performing Arts Center\, 602 F Street\, on Thursday\, October 26\, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. for the 2023 Candidate Forum. This forum will give City of La Porte residents the opportunity to have their voices heard by those running in the November 7 election.\n\nBert Cook will moderate this public event\, wherein each candidate will have an opportunity to give an opening statement\, answer three questions\, and make a closing statement.\n\nAttendees wishing to pose a question to the candidates may do so by submitting their questions in writing at the event or online ahead of time here. Questions will be prioritized by topic\, with the moderator asking the most frequently submitted questions first.\n\nAll mayoral and city council candidates have been invited to the forum.
