DESCRIPTION:2018 Relay For Life of LaPorte County Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society's largest fundraiser each year. The theme for our 23rd annual event is USA / United we Stand Against cancer. The entire community is invited to come out and help us Celebrate those who have battled cancer\, Remember loved ones lost\, and Fight Back by taking action to finish the fight. There is no charge to come out and enjoy the entertainment that is planned. There is no charge for the children's area. If you are a Survivor or Caregiver there is no charge for the special dinner in your honor. There will be plenty of opportunities to make a donation\, purchase from one of our teams\, or take home a treasure or two from the auctions! You can also buy a Luminaria bag in Honor of a cancer survivor or in Memory of one who lost their battle. The Luminaria Ceremony is one of the most touching parts of any relay anywhere. Mark your calendar for June 16 at 10 AM to June 17 at 6 AM and join the fun at the LaPorte Counth Fairgrounds at 2581 W. State Rd. 2 - LaPorte\, IN 46350.
