DESCRIPTION:Join the La Porte Economic Advancement Partnership as we join forces with the Northwest Indiana Small Business Development Center to bring our community a series of topics tailored to small business in our community.\n\n\n\nThe topic for this session is Search Engine Marketing and Search Engine Optimization.\n\n\n\nThe fourth workshop continues on August 5th at the La Porte County Public Library Exchange Classroom\, 807 Indiana Avenue\, from  5:15-6:30 p.m. and will feature guest presenter Marisa Plesac\, Operations Manager at Duneland Media.\n\n\n\nMarisa Plesac manages project flow and client communication at Duneland Media\, ensuring their digital marketing campaigns stay aligned\, on time\, and results-driven. Every day brings a chance to collaborate with clients from different industries\, and she enjoys learning how digital strategy can uniquely support each of their goals. She loves seeing how the services Duneland provides makes a positive impact on others\, especially small business. She is proud to work with a team that brings creativity\, precision\, and heart to everything they do.\n\n\n\nAutumn Johnson earned her Bachelor's in Marketing with a minor in Business Analytics in 2021 from Indiana University South Bend\, where she was also part of the Honors Program. During her time at IUSB\, she developed a strong foundation in marketing strategy\, data analysis\, and community engagement. Her involvement in the Honors Program encouraged her to stay connected with local communities\, leading to her desire to work at Duneland.\n\n\n\nCurrently she manages Google Ads/Search Engine Optimization\, leads SEO strategy\, and oversee reporting and analytics. She enjoys finding ways to blend creativity and data to drive results and build meaningful connections\, whether through digital platforms or community outreach.\n\n\n\nWorkshops are open to the first 25 respondents. You must register to attend the event.
