A veteran entrepreneur\, he is the former owner of several Chicago iconic brands- the Jazz Oasis\, Red Onion Piano and Wine Bar\, and Bazzells French Quarter Bistro. Moultrie\, a former chef restaurateur and music entrepreneur\, is the recipient of numerous awards including the Small Business Association Young Entrepreneur of the Year\; Inc. Magazine's Entrepreneur of the Year\; Dollar & Sense magazine's International Jazz Club of the Year\; Chicago Tribune's Top African American Chef\, Owner of Chicago Magazine's Best Restaurants for Desserts and Chicago Tribune's Top 10 Best Undiscovered Restaurants.
