DESCRIPTION:Join us for Business Made Social\, a networking event for La Porte business people!\n\n\n\nMatt Cook\, Senior HR Manager\, Talent and Organizational Development at 1st Source will be our keynote speaker for the month of November.\n\n\n\nAttendees will have one minute to give an introduction of who they are and what their business is. Coffee and tea will be provided.\n\n\n\nThis event is free of charge.\n\n \nMatt started his career in Human Resources in 2006 after graduating from Purdue with a Degree in Economics.  He worked as the HR Director for the City of La Porte for nearly 7 years\, while completing his Master's Degree in Human Resources and Employee Relations from Loyola University of Chicago.  \n\n \n\nAfter graduate school\, he joined Sullair Corporation\, a United Technologies Company\, and spent several years in HR gaining experience in a global manufacturing environment.  He joined 1st Source Bank in 2016 as a Senior HR Program Manager\, feeling a strong alignment with the mission\, vision and values.  Matt lives in Ogden Dunes\, Indiana\, with his wife\, two kids\, and chocolate lab.  He enjoys spending time with his family\, being active outdoors\, backpacking\, and is an avid NBA basketball fan.
