Laurie started her professional career as a controller for Allstate Insurance in the Commercial Division. After leaving Allstate to stay at home with her children for 6 years\, Laurie became the Membership Manager at the Joliet YMCA\, helping to grow the organization from 2 branches to 4 branches\, and was later promoted to Branch Executive of the Joliet Branch\, where she served for 13 years. After her children went to college\, she decided it was time for a change. Laurie became the CEO of the Crossroads YMCA in Crown Point\, where she served 3 years\, before deciding to call La Porte home. In her spare time\, Laurie and her family enjoy the outdoors and gardening\, and they can be found exploring the natural beauty of Northwest Indiana any chance they get.\n\n\n\nPlease let us know if you have any exceptions or special needs by 9/19/22.
