An event presented by Islay&rsquo\;s (I-La) Barrel and hosted by \;Journeyman Distillery\, it'\;s the 2nd Annual \;Islay'\;s Barrel Brew Fest with Journeyman &\; Friends! \;We are truly humbled by the interest and commitments from the brewing industry.
\n\n100% of the ticket sales go to \;Islay&rsquo\;s Barrel\, a 501c3 \;nonprofit organization with a mission to extend summer program opportunities to South West Michigan children. Through various fundraisers\, Islay'\;s Barrel raises money to send recipients to local summer programs. This is also a chance to support valuable programs\, such as the \;Dunes Learning Center \;and \;Camp Eberhart\, that serve kids in your community. Because of the generosity of friends like you\, we are able to continue to enhance the lives of the students and families we serve both socially and academically!
\n\n30+ Breweries\, Mead/Cideries\, and Wineries will be on-site bringing their choice selection of brews. \;Any brewery that uses a Journeyman Barrel to age a beer\, will then be entered into the event'\;s competition. Last year the winner was Greenbush Brewery with \;Rodeo de Cabra\, an 11.7% Imperial cream stout with blueberries\, maple syrup\, and vanilla. The winner will have their name and brew mounted onto the Golden Barrel\, get bragging rights\, and receive a custom tap handle.
