DESCRIPTION:4th Annual Kickin' It to End Hunger Kickball Tournament to benefit The Pax Center. The mission of The Pax Center is to help those in need who are dealing with difficult life circumstances and to foster positive community participation by providing an environmentally sound facility for the arts\, education\, recreation\, celebration\, and human services in order to increase opportunity for personal and collective growth in our community.\n\n\n\nOur food pantry feeds an average of 1\,500 people a month and feed 125 people each week a hot lunch at our community meal. In addition\, we offer a resource center to refer specific needs of our local agencies. Please help your La Porte community by having your business\, church\, or organization be a part of making a difference in the fight against hunger.\n\n\n\nTeam members must be at least 14 years of age. There will be a captain's meeting on Tuesday\, September 8 at 6:30 p.m. at The Pax Center at 605 Washington Street\, La Porte. Game rules and regulations will be handed out then. Each game will have a certified umpire. The winners of the tournament will receive an award. An award will be given to the most unique dressed team. There will be concessions at the field.
