DESCRIPTION:The Northwest ISBDC and Anna Sheets of Accounting Made Simple are offering the QuickBooks Essentials workshop from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday Feb. 9 and Thursday Feb. 11 at the Purdue University North Central Graduate Building\, 600 Vale Park Road\, in Room 20.\n\n\n\nThe two-part workshop for new users will detail core bookkeeping functions including: accounting primer\, getting started\, navigating QuickBooks\, managing lists\, working with bank accounts\, recording sales\, receiving payments\, making deposits and entering and paying bills.  \n\n\n\nThe class is appropriate for users of all Windows Versions of QuickBooks and the course material does not include references for QuickBooks Online Edition\, QuickBooks Pro for Mac or Simple Start Software.\n\n\n\nThe fee for the two-part session is $100. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required as there is limited seating. To register\, visit www.nwisbdc.org\, click on seminars and events\, the workshop and follow instructions or call (219) 644-3513. Participants receive class materials and instructor follow-up as well as a certificate upon completion.\n\n\n\nServing seven counties in the region\, the NW-ISBDC offers no-cost assistance for entrepreneurs starting or expanding their businesses. Through one-on-one consulting\, the NW-ISBDC helps guide small businesses toward their goals by offering referrals\, workshops\, training opportunities and other essential business tools.
