The free screening is offered to veterans: living in La Porte County\, without a dentist\, without dental insurance & limited ability to apy. Veterans will need to bring the following items to the appointment: discharge papers (DD214)\, and driver's license or valid state ID. The dental screen includes an exam and X-ray. No treatments will be performed on-site the day of the screening. If follow-up treatment is needed\, the veteran will be referred to a dentist in La Porte County\, who will do a cleaning\, fillings and extractions\, if needed\, at no cost.
