DESCRIPTION:The Greater La Porte Chamber of Commerce will host a panel and luncheon on Career and Technical Education (CTE) featuring the chair of the Region 1 Works Council\, Kris Emaus.  The event will take place on April 26 at the La Porte County Public Library in the Large Meeting Room\, 904 Indiana Avenue in La Porte\, with registration beginning at 11:15 a.m.\n\n \n\nLearn why CTE is a valuable career path for our youth and the impact it has on our region's economy and workforce. Panelists at the event include Audra Peterson\, Director of A.K. Smith Center\, and Frank Cardello and Josh McCoy from Packaging Logic.\n\n \n\n\nThe following questions will also be answered: What are regional partner efforts? What is work based learning?
