DESCRIPTION:Family Advocates and Tryon Farm Institute are organizing a family friendly 5K/10K Trail Run and Kids Fun Run at Tryon Farm to benefit the volunteer advocacy services that CASA provides to local children in foster care. Participants are invited to dress as their favorite superhero and participate in the races\, costume contest\, a pumpkin decorating contest\, Family Fun Zone\, food\, music and other fun festivities! Music performed by: The Deep Fried Pickle Project and Gunpowder Treason. The Deep Fried Pickle Project will have an instrument petting zoo and an opportunity for kids to make their own jug band instruments. The Family Fun Zone will feature the bands\, food vendors\, carnival games\, bounce house and face painting. A great day to bring chairs or blanket and enjoy the SUPERHERO farm atmosphere!
