Business Made Social - November 2026

Join us for Business Made Social, a networking event for La Porte business people! This event will be held at State Street Community Church, at 7:30 a.m. on November 17th. Our guest speakers will be Joe McGuinness and Megan Schuetz from Avenew to talk about the paving projects the City of La Porte has planned for the near future.

Joe McGuinness brings executive-level leadership experience in transportation, economic development, and public infrastructure. Having managed major capital programs and public investments, he helps clients navigate funding opportunities, build partnerships, and advance projects that support long-term community and economic growth.
 
Megan Schuetz, PE specializes in roadway asset management, roadway preservation techniques and building long-lasting pavement infrastructure. Her experience spans pavement research, specification development, and agency training. Megan helps clients make informed decisions that extend pavement life, improve performance, and maximize the value of infrastructure investments.
