Downtown Winter Fest 2015

The tradition of the City of La Porte Park Department's WinterFest kicks off in Downtown La Porte this January! From 4pm to 7pm on Friday, January 23, people are encouraged to come downtown and see ice sculptures being carved live by ice artisans. These professional sculptors use a whole range of power tools, including chainsaws, on large blocks of ice. Come and see how quickly a block of ice can be transformed into a work of art.
