TEENS, Join us at Lubeznik Center for the Arts (LCA) for a hands-on linocut demo and stamp-making workshop. Participants will learn the basics of linocut printmaking, including how to safely carve designs into linoleum blocks and transfer their image onto paper. Teens will create their own custom stamps and experiment with printing techniques to make unique, repeatable designs.
Linocut is a fun and accessible form of relief printmaking that allows artists to explore bold shapes, high contrast and creative pattern-making.
All materials are provided for teens to engage in a variety of monthly workshops every third Thursday of the month. TAC is always free and open to join for local creative teens ages 13-18. Contact LCA’s Education Director, Nelsy Marcano, at nmarcano@lubeznikcenter.org, or call 219.874.4900 to register.
