"UNREAL" Exhibit Opening Reception

Join us on Friday, November 6 from 5-8 PM (Central), for the opening reception of LCA's new exhibition, "UNREAL." Enjoy an evening out featuring spectacular art, hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar.

This exhibition brings together five Midwestern artists — Anthony Adcock, Cindy Bernhard, Chris Cosnowski, Renee McGinnis, and Ari Norris — who employ illusion, hyperrealism, trompe l’oeil (French for "to deceive the eye"), humor, art historical references and extraordinary craftsmanship to examine the unstable boundary between what we see and what we believe. Their works invite us to look more closely, not only at the art objects before us, but at the assumptions, desires, fears and systems that shape our understanding of reality.

As always, admission is free!

LCA's free First Friday events are generously sponsored by Horizon Bank.
