South Bend International Airport (SBN) is once again partnering with Delta Air Lines, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), the Arc, and ADEC to host the Wings for All event on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. The free event gives families the chance to participate in a “rehearsal” flight to overcome anxiety associated with the challenges of flying.
The event will take families through the process of checking luggage, clearing security, boarding an airplane, and preparing for takeoff. People of all ages with extra needs are invited to participate in the event.
To properly prepare, families must register by April 26 by completing the online form found at http://bit.ly/2pgZu5V.
“I have seen the success of this event and encourage any family that experiences anxiety when flying to participate,” said Julie Curtis, South Bend International Airport’s Director of Marketing and Development. “The Wings for All program will help families and individuals of all ages become comfortable navigating airports.”
