Women United Power of the Purse

Women United is a global force of more than 70,000 women dedicate to creating a world of opportunity – for everyone. In LaPorte County, we are a group of philanthropic leaders dedicated to making a lasting difference in our local community. Our local chapter is a vibrant, diverse and regional force of women leaders helping to mobilize the caring power of women in LaPorte County to advance the common good and eliminate generational poverty.

Each year Women United of LaPorte County hosts Power of the Purse, an exciting designer purse raffle event that brings local women leaders together to have fun, network and support the impact work of Women United and the United Way of LaPorte County.

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS…

This year Power of the Purse will be held on Thursday, October 5th from 6:00 – 9:00 PM at Uptown Social.

We are asking for YOU to donate and create a package featuring a designer purse and other items to raffle off throughout the evening. This is a great way to showcase not only your creativity but your business or organization as well!

We need your help to make this year’s Power of the Purse a success. All donations to Women United and United Way of LaPorte County are tax deductible. Please consider joining us this year and help continue the fight towards financial stability for all in LaPorte County.
