Worthy Women Recovery Home Membership Luncheon

The Greater La Porte Chamber of Commerce will host a Chamber Membership Luncheon on Friday, December 19^th, at Etropal, 701 Lincolnway, La Porte.

The sponsor of this event is Worthy Women Recovery Home. Registration begins at 11:15 a.m. with lunch and the presentation at 11:30 a.m.

“The mission is to open our home for former female inmates who want a safe, secure, and sober environment; the building is only a task, but a large task.  Worthy Recovery Inc. provides evidence based programs in the jail and in our community. We are building this recovery home because of the critical need we see.  Healing people heals our community providing a healthy workforce for business owners.”, stated Sonshine Troche, President of WWRH.

WWRH currently under construction, is a Christian home that provides recently incarcerated women with re-entry programs and the tools necessary to reduce recidivism rates, substance abuse and addictions, and to empower them to live as positive role models for their children and in their community.
