Brown Bag Lunch at La Porte County Historical Society Museum
The La Porte County Historical Society Museum will be hosting its first Brown Bag Lunch on Wednesday, January 24th from noon until 1 PM in the meeting room of the museum. Guests are invited to bring their own lunches and enjoy hearing artist Robert Smith as he presents his drawings of La Porte County railroad stations. Enjoy the presentation as you eat your lunch, and then get back to work or other responsibility within an hour. Admission will not be charged for this event; however, those wishing to stay and tour the museum will be asked to pay admission at the front desk.
Come enjoy the Historical Society’s first ever Brown Bag Lunch and bring your friends. More Brown Bag Lunches are in the works! Give us ideas for what programs you would like to see.
The museum is located at 2405 Indiana Ave. (Hwy 35) at the south entrance to La Porte. Regular hours are 10AM until 4:30 PM, Tuesday through Saturday. Call: 219-324-6767 for more information or visit the website at: www.laportecountyhistory.org. The building is accessible to those with disabilities.
