FLSA Overtime Rule Luncheon and Q&A

Join the Greater La Porte Chamber of Commerce for a luncheon and Q&A on the new Fair Labor Standards Act overtime rule. The event will take place at Etropal Restaurant & Lounge on Friday, September 16 with registration beginning at 11:15 a.m.

Nora Akins of Strategic Management, LLC will present infromation at this event. Nora T. Akins, MS, SPHR, SHRM-SCP is a human resource compliance and performance consultant. Nora invests herself through continuing education and active participation in associations. Nora is certified through the Society of Human Resource Management and the Human Resource Certification Institute as a Senior Professional in Human Resources. She is also certified in Performance Consulting through Exemplary Performance and Human Synergistics.

Nora will provide information about the upcoming changes to the law and will do a Q&A session to answer further questions at this luncheon.
