Goodwill SCSEP Application Day
Goodwill host a Senior Community Service Employment Program Application Day Event on Thursday, August 24 from 2:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. at the Greater La Porte Chamber of Commerce, 803 Washington Street in La Porte. Do you know someone who is looking for work and is 55 years of age or older? They may eligible for the Senior Community Service Program. Event registration is free- call 574.276.9995 for more information. Let Goodwill help link you or someone else with a local nonprofit or other community service agency where you'll: get paid to learn new skills through on-the-job training; learn current job serach techniques and develop effective interview skills; and build work experience and confidence to advance to regular employment.
