Superhero Farm Fest
Family Advocates and Tryon Farm Institute are organizing a family friendly 5K/10K Trail Run and Kids Fun Run at Tryon Farm to benefit the volunteer advocacy services that CASA provides to local children in foster care. Participants are invited to dress as their favorite superhero and participate in the races, costume contest, a pumpkin decorating contest, Family Fun Zone, food, music and other fun festivities! Music performed by: The Deep Fried Pickle Project and Gunpowder Treason. The Deep Fried Pickle Project will have an instrument petting zoo and an opportunity for kids to make their own jug band instruments. The Family Fun Zone will feature the bands, food vendors, carnival games, bounce house and face painting. A great day to bring chairs or blanket and enjoy the SUPERHERO farm atmosphere!

Superhero Farm Fest will kick off the day with the Superhero 5K/10K Trail run. Runners from all over come, dressed as their favorite hero, to compete in the trail run and enjoy the beautiful scenery at Tryon Farm. Registration opens at 7:30am in the barn 9:00 am - Kids Fun Run 9:30 am - 10K Trail Run 10:00 am - 5K Trail Run Pumpkin Decorating Contest: Decorating will take place starting at 9:00 am - 11:00 am, with judging at 11:30 am. Superhero Costume Contest will begin at 11:00am, please arrive by 10:45am in order to participate.

Fees/Admission
$25 - 5K with T-shirt if registered prior to 8/17/16 $35 - 10K with T-shirt if registered prior to 8/17/16 $15 - Youth (age 10-13) 5K or 10K with T-shirt if registered prior to 8/17/16 $5 - Kids Fun Run with T-shirt if registered prior to 8/17/16 *Shirt not included in registration fee for participants that register after 8/17/16* To compete in the Pumpkin Decorating Contest it is $5. Kids pass for Family Fun Zone is $5 per child, or $10 for family up to 4 children. (no charge for parents)
