Horizon Bank Announces $5,000 Sponsorship for 20th Annual Hoosier Star
Michigan City, Indiana – Horizon Bank is pleased to announce the $5,000 grant awarded to LaPorte County Symphony Orchestra (LCSO) to support the 20th Annual Hoosier Star. “Horizon has been supporting the Hoosier Star event since its inception. Michigan City, Indiana – Horizon Bank is proud to support The Salvation Army of Michigan City with a $5,000 grant in support of its Weekend Backpack Feeding Program. This program provides critical weekend meals for children in the Michigan City area who are homeless, at risk of becoming homeless, or facing food insecurity. Each week during the school year, children receive six nutritious meals. The goal is to make sure they have breakfast, lunch, and dinner on both Saturday and Sunday when school meals are

MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. – The 43rd annual Lubeznik Arts Festival will showcase 80 artists who work in a variety of media to Michigan City, Ind. on Saturday and Sunday, August 16 and 17 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Central). The festival draws children and adults from the Northwest Indiana region, Southwest Michigan and beyond to Lubeznik Center for the Arts' (LCA) grounds and galleries at 101 W. 2nd Street.
