(La Porte, Ind.) – Larson-Danielson Construction is pleased to announce the promotion of Anthony Lara to the position of Estimating Manager at Larson-Danielson. After joining our team in 2020, Lara has consistently demonstrated his exceptional skills as an estimator. His thoughtful collaboration and data-driven approach have brought significant improvements to our estimating processes.
 
“Anthony has proven to be an exceptional estimator with an appreciation for thoughtful collaboration and takes a data driven approach in developing improved estimating processes,” said Larson-Danielson vice president Nick Larson. “He is now in charge of the day to day operations of the estimating department, effectively filling the role of chief estimator.”
 
In his new role as Estimating Manager, essentially filling the Chief Estimator role, Lara will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the estimating department. His unique talent for understanding the complexity or efficiency of a task, just by examining a set of prints, even with limited information, is truly remarkable and he will be able to put to this skill to optimal use in his new role.
 
Lara’s key responsibilities in this new role will include reviewing prospective projects, working with project and field management personal to ensure resources are available to complete prospective projects, assigning projects to estimators, maintaining and improving the estimating database, and managing the estimating department schedule, in addition to estimating projects.

Prior to joining Larson-Danielson, Lara spent over four years with Spence Brothers in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He is a seasoned professional with seven years of experience in the construction industry.
 
In addition to his professional experience, Lara is a member of the American Society of Professional Estimators and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Eastern Michigan University.
