Michigan City, IN – 8/30/2025 –  CLH, CPAs & Consultants is thrilled to announce both Angela Grothaus, CPA, CVA, and Lisa Human, CPA, have been promoted to partners in the firm.  This promotion recognizes their exceptional leadership and dedication to client service.

 

Angela Grothaus joined CLH in 2014 as a senior staff accountant and worked her way through the firm in several other roles before being named partner this year. A certified valuation analyst, she leads the firm’s business valuation department, where she oversees business valuations for estate, gifting, and litigation matters, tax engagements, and business consulting.

 

“CLH is a firm that values employees as its greatest asset,” said Grothaus. “It is an extreme honor to be offered this opportunity to continue that legacy of care for our members and clients.”

 

Grothaus graduated with a B.A. in Music Education from the University of Dayton, then earned a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Accounting from Indiana University. She is currently a licensed CPA in Indiana and Florida.

 

Lisa Human joined CLH in 2014 as a staff accountant and also served in other roles in the firm over the years before being promoted to partner.  In her role as partner, she leads the firm’s Client Accounting Solutions team and is responsible for implementing the the firm's education and staff development initiatives. She also advises business clients on organizational decisions and assists them in developing policy and internal controls.  

 

“This is a pretty incredible experience that I certainly didn’t see for myself 11 years ago,” said Human. “I am excited to be part of leadership and excited to inspire team members by showing them that hard work pays off.”

 

Human holds both a B.S. in Accounting and an M.S. in Accounting from Indiana Wesleyan University and is a licensed CPA in Indiana.
