Introducing La Lumiere's New Director of Admissions and Financial Aid
It is with great excitement that after conducting a national search, Stephanie Hill will be joining the La Lumiere community in the summer of 2024 as the Director of Admissions and Financial Aid. She joins the community with nine years of independent school admissions experience, with her latest role at Santa Catalina School where she serves as the Director of Admissions, PreK - Grade 8. Stephanie is a Midwest native, having attended Lake Forest College, along with receiving her Masters of Arts in Educational Administration from Concordia University Chicago.
Having grown up on a Midwest boarding school campus, she has lived most of her life in a residential life community. Her passion for engagement extends beyond the admission office, as she has served as a dorm head in a freshman dorm, along with a basketball and softball coach.
Stephanie shared with me that she is most excited about joining the La Lumiere community because when she visited this fall it felt like coming home. Everywhere she turned the students and faculty embraced the La Lumiere values: they were kind, welcoming, and had a clear love for their school.
Stephanie will be working alongside our current Associate Director of Admissions, Jay Blakely, and Brian Tonino, Director of Advancement.
Please join us in welcoming Stephanie to La Lumiere. We are thrilled to have her join our school community and are confident that she will bring a wealth of experience, knowledge, and enthusiasm to our team.
