Larson-Danielson celebrates 2025 construction awards

The first half of 2025 has been a resounding success for Larson-Danielson Construction. The 117-year-old commercial construction firm has been the recipient of multiple awards and accolades.

Larson-Danielson has been recognized as the "Best Commercial Construction Firm for New Construction" and "Best Commercial Construction Firm for Remodeling or Expansion" in Northwest Indiana in 2025 by Northwest Indiana Business Magazine readers. Since 2005, the firm has regularly been recognized by the "Best of Business Awards," which highlight businesses excelling in service, entrepreneurship, and leadership.

In addition to Larson-Danielson's Best of Business awards, Facet Architecture, the firm's in-house architecture and design firm, earned its third consecutive award, "best commercial architectural design firm" in Northwest Indiana. Facet Architecture is a growing commercial architecture firm providing interior design and architecture solutions.

Larson-Danielson and Facet Architecture were also highlighted at the 2025 CAF/NWIBRT Awards Banquet on May 8. The HealthLinc medical office building in Michigan City was named the Commercial Project of the Year Construction Advancement Foundation (CAF).

A design/build project completed in February of 2024, the 39,000 square foot facility enhances community access to healthcare. Designed by Facet Architecture and built by Larson-Danielson, this state-of-the-art medical office building offers an expansive array of healthcare services, including medical, dental, pediatrics, vision, podiatry, chiropractic services, and a full-service on-site pharmacy.

Further recognition came at the Annual Excellence in Construction Awards by the Michiana Builders Association (MBA) and MACIAF for the HealthLinc medical office building as well as Graham Family Hall at the University of Notre Dame. Both projects were honored with Excellence in Construction Awards, which celebrate projects that demonstrate outstanding performance and quality.

Graham Family Hall, a men’s dormitory completed in August 2024, combines Notre Dame’s collegiate gothic style with modern amenities, accommodating up to 262 students with a mix of single, double, quad, and six-person rooms. Larson-Danielson served as the general contractor for the four-story, 79,000-square-foot facility featuring a ground-level archway through it, which joins the north and south sides of the building as well as a chapel.

"Winning the Excellence in Construction Awards is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team," said Brian Larson, President of Larson-Danielson Construction.” It highlights our unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional quality and value on every project."

These honors would not be possible without the dedication of the entire team at Larson-Danielson and the strong relationships with clients that have been built over the past 100+ years. These awards are motivation to continue to strengthen relationships, tackle challenges, and deliver quality solutions, while continuing to build a lasting legacy
