Lubeznik Center for the Arts & Temerity Presents Youth Fashion Show Hosted by BuddingPreneurs
MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. – Lubeznik Center for the Arts (LCA) is partnering with Temerity Boutique for a Youth Fashion Show on Friday, May 10, 2024, from 5 to 8 p.m. Central. All are welcome to enjoy the show, complimentary light refreshments and a cash bar. Admission is $25 a person.
Hosted by Temerity's young entrepreneurs, the youth fashion show will showcase clothing by local designers Goatish Behavior, Region R.A.T.S. and Sew Royal - Tinea Hodges Designs. Mix and mingling will take place from 5-6 p.m.; the fashion show will begin at 6:15 p.m. Central. Tickets are on sale at LubeznikCenter.org/Events.
Janet Bloch, LCA's Executive Director said, "Lubeznik Center is excited to collaborate with Temerity and the BuddingPreneurs to bring this program to the community. Our organizations share the success of youth as a common goal, but bring different skill sets to make this a dynamic event. I hope everyone buys a ticket to support the work our organizations do with youth!"
In addition to enjoying the fashion show, attendees can view "Stitched, Woven and Hooked," LCA's current exhibition. This exhibit showcases extraordinary work by textile artists who employ a broad range of materials and techniques and other contemporary material play.
In the NIPSCO Art Education Studios, "Art from the Start," is on display through May 15. This popular exhibition showcases the artworks created by the students of Michigan City Area Schools.
