Non-Profit Spotlight & Volunteer Connections Expo Now Accepting Vendors

The Non-Profit Spotlight & Volunteer Connections Expo hosted by Leadership La Porte County will be held on Tuesday, November 12th, at the Michigan City Fraternal Order of Police (FOP Dunes Lodge #75) from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. This event invites non-profit organizations to showcase their missions and highlight their volunteer opportunities. Whether your organization needs board members, committee participants, or general volunteers, this event is a platform to connect with the community.

Non-profits can reserve booth space for $25 with an early bird rate (before October 15th) or $30 for reservations made after. The final deadline to reserve space is November 1st.

The event is free to the public and is a great opportunity to learn more about the impactful work of local non-profits and how to get involved. Leadership La Porte County’s Executive Director, Monica Komasinski, emphasized the importance of community support, stating, “This event will help these organizations share their mission with community members, and we hope citizens of all ages will attend to offer their support.”

The expo will also highlight ways high school students can fulfill service hours. Leadership La Porte County’s Adolescent Civic Engagement booth will offer additional ways for students to get involved and contribute to the community.

Interested non-profits can access the vendor application form on the Leadership La Porte County website. For more information, visit www.leadershiplaportecounty.com.
