Schedule Released for Sixth Annual LakeFest
La PORTE, IN (Feb. 27, 2026) - The LakeFest planning committee today announced the schedule of events for its sixth annual festival, according to Park Superintendent and Committee Chair Mark Schreiber.
Returning to La Porte's Pine, Stone and Clear lakes July 24-26, LakeFest will feature live music, food trucks and a wide array of family-friendly activities, all while showcasing the city’s beautiful parks and lakes. After some exciting additions to last year’s lineup, Schreiber said the committee is thrilled to build upon that momentum for what promises to be another incredible event.
“In just five years’ time, LakeFest has become the highlight of the summer in La Porte,” Schreiber said. “Even with some bad weather last year, we had some of the most devoted and enthusiastic crowds we’ve seen. Our team is delighted to bring back a fully-loaded lineup of events and bring our community together for another incredible weekend by the lakes.”
Back this year are recent additions, including the weekend steamboat rides on Pine Lake, a family beach bash along Stone Lake, free fitness classes in Unity Park and a Sunday brew fest on Stone Lake Beach. Of course, live music returns to the parks, as well as an artisan market, car show, outdoor recreational activities and more. Schreiber said residents should be on the lookout in the coming weeks for an announcement detailing the headliner and supporting acts for Saturday night’s concert.
