Friday Night Live Series Returns this Month, Kicks Off with All-New Event
La PORTE, IN (May 8, 2025) – The ever-popular Friday Night Live event series will return to downtown La Porte later this month, according to Civic & Events Director Gregory Pietsch.
Kicking things off will be the first-ever Country & ’Que on Friday, May 30. This event will feature local barbecue food vendors, a beer garden and a live musical performance by up-and-coming country artist Mark Taylor. Free to attend and open to all ages, Pietsch said this is the perfect start to a jam-packed summer.
"We have an exciting lineup of summer events planned for this year, and we’re thrilled to be kicking things off with something entirely new," Pietsch said. “With good food and great music, County & ’Que will surely set the tone for the season and get our residents excited for another summer of fun in the City of La Porte.”
This event is made possible by Mofield Property Services and the La Porte Urban Enterprise Association. For more information on this event and others, visit livinthelakelife.org.
