LaPorte, IN — Giggles Boutique invites the community to come together for a day of connection, support, and resources at its upcoming Mental Health & Wellness Event on Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The event will be held at Giggles Boutique, 321 Lincolnway, LaPorte, IN.

This free, family-friendly event is designed to bring together a wide range of services focused on mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect directly with local professionals and organizations that offer support at all stages of life.

“We want people to know they are not alone and that help is accessible,” said Abby Vogel, Executive Director of Giggles Boutique. “This event brings together resources in one place so individuals and families can explore options, ask questions, and feel supported.”

Event Highlights Include:
● Mental health resources for children, teens, and adults
● Veteran (VA) support services
● Substance abuse and recovery resources
● Domestic violence support and advocacy
● Healthy living and weight loss guidance
● Equine (horse) therapy information
● General wellness and lifestyle support

Providers from across the community will be present to offer information, answer questions, and connect guests with ongoing services. The event is open to all ages and encourages families, friends, and individuals to attend together.

In addition, donations will be accepted during the event to support the Giggles Boutique community closet and ongoing programming, to ensure continued access to essential resources for individuals and families in need.

Giggles Boutique is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving LaPorte County and surrounding communities by providing free, dignified access to clothing, hygiene products, school supplies, diapers, formula, blankets, and emergency essentials. Founded on lived experience as a foster parent and community advocate, the mission of Giggles Boutique is to create a safe and welcoming space where families can find not only the items they need but also the compassion, dignity, and respect they deserve.
