La Porte County - May 26, 2026 - The Salvation Army serving La Porte County invites the community to its 11th annual Donut Eating Contest, taking place Friday, June 5 at Blue Chip Casino Stardust Event Center, Michigan City. May 11th, 2020—Rural King, America’s Farm and Home Store, has announced plans to open in La Porte, Indiana by March 2021. The new store will open in Maple Lane Mall, 1340 West State Road 2.
