Historical Cruise on Lake Michigan

The cruise will take place on September 13th, 2025 from 4:00 – 6:00pm. The tour boat is located at 200 Heisman Harbor, right behind the Old Lighthouse Museum in Michigan City.

Tickets are $50 per person.

Children 18 and younger are $25.

Historical Society Members are $45.

Tickets can be bought on the Museum's website at laportecountyhistory.org. A limited number of tickets are available.

Please email Museum Assistant Director Savannah Jackson at assistantdirector@laportecountyhistory.org if you are a Society Member to purchase your tickets.

La Porte County Historian Bruce Johnson will give a sightseeing tour during the cruise. Guests will have the opportunity to learn more about Lake Michigan, Washington Park, Long Beach, and so much more. During the cruise, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a full-service cash bar. Hors d’oeuvres will also be provided for guests.

The theme of this cruise is Gilligan’s Island! We encourage guests to dress up as their favorite character from the show!
